Lucky, there were some brave developers that decided to use the new technology to make impressive 2D games that aged very well instead of 3D games that aged like a piece of wet lettuce. However, when you go back and play some of the first 3D games, you may not have as much fun as you would have hoped for every Super Mario 64, there were 10 Bubsy 3Ds. An emphasis was put on creating and marketing games with 3D environments, especially in North America.
